Goodbye 2007!!! Hello 2008!!! December 31, 2007

Hello hello!

there’s roughly bout 3 hours and 30 more minutes to go till new years…. Damn…. Time does fly so fast…. I felt like as if i was still in primary yesterday lol…. I’ve had so much great awesome and valueable memories that this year has given me….

i met my newest bff Sam, sophia, and david this year…. I fell in love this year and was finally with someone after sometime being single…. sadly we broke up…. But hey…. He’s a bff ryte now so yea…. He’s been there thru thick and thin….

i could go on bout what happened this year and its gonna take forever…. But i think its best kept to be untold…. Its history and its memories that i’ll never forget…. But now its time to move forward to a new year…..

new years resolution:
*get into college
* try more new things
* meet new people
* crap less
* cut down the annoying people activity
* probably loose a little weight
* travel to australia, and new zealand
* keep making more memories with my besties and my friends.
*try to spend more time with my nieces and nephews.

yup that’s all i want…. i know my new years resolutions are lame but don’t care lol…. I hope that the year 08 brings all of you prosperity, luck, joy, good health and wealth, success and happiness…. Looking forward to spend another awesome year with all of u….. And thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything!

Last Day Of Year 2007 December 31, 2007

It is the last day of 2007… Yes its the time to say goodbye to the year of 07 and say hello and welcome the year of 08….

Amelia came up with the plan of having a get together for lunch today…. So i agreed and tagged Ili along…. I had so much fun earlier…. I saw my buddies after such a long time…. Who were there? There was me, Amelia, Takshi, Ashikin, Ili, Dila, Josephine, and Caroline….

as usual we were the most kecoh(noisiest) people at the place we dined…. Till we had people giving us signs to shut up…. Amelia and Takshi…. Damn lol…. These two…. They’re always debating with each other…. I even took a video of that…. And i might post it up soon….

Ili ili ili…. Thank you for ur gifts dude…. Ur awesome! Lol…. Well not cause u gave me the gift…. But cause u r an awesome person….

me and ili were fighting bout kyle and stuff…. She says he’s hot and i say he’s cute not hot…. Dila decided to defend ili by saying kyle’s hot…. I didn’t antiq asking Ashikin who she think is hot…. Cause her answer is gonna be Kenny lol…. Haha….

amelia left earlier cause her mom is not really well…. Send regards to ur mom amelia and hope she gets well soon….

after lunch…. We walked around Sunway Pyramid…. Takshi finally bought her first cargo pants…. Honestly…. U do look good in cargo pants lol….

yes yes we did take pictures and videos…. I’ll post it asap…. And Dila…. U need to send me ur pictures la…. Lol…. And next time bring spare battery haha..

lol…. And yes we ate at the Pancake House…. For those of u…. Don’t start thinking that they only serve pancakes there…. They don’t…. There’s spaghetti and pasta etc etc etc…. My meal was like yukkkk…. Worst carbonara i ever tasted…. Lol….

Whose Jonathan Rhys-Meyers if u may ask? His an actor…. A irish actor…. U may have seen him in movies like Bend It Like Beckham, Alexander The Great, or even in Mission Impossible 3….

Switchfoot is a Grammy-nominated alternative rock band from San Diego, California, United States. The band members are Jon Foreman (vocals, guitar), Tim Foreman (bass, backing vocals), Chad Butler (drums), Jerome Fontamillas (guitar, keyboard, backing vocals), and Drew Shirley (guitar). Known for their energetic live show, the three guitarists in the line-up often operate simultaneously, building on the pop sensibilities of Jon’s songwriting, and, rounded out by Jerome’s work on the synthesizer, bringing his industrial roots to the sound, the band works up “the Switchfoot sound”- a melodic crunch of densely layered sound featuring some electronic experimentation, and often driven by hard-charging guitar riffs, while throwing in a few softer, spacey ballads as well.

Switchfoot first gained mainstream recognition after the inclusion of four of their songs in the 2002 movie A Walk to Remember. This recognition led to their major label debut, The Beautiful Letdown, which was released in 2003 and sold over 2.6 million copies as well as featuring their best-known singles, “Meant to Live” and “Dare You to Move”.

According to Jon Foreman, the name “Switchfoot” is a surfing term. “We all love to surf and have been surfing all our lives so to us, the name made sense. To switch your feet means to take a new stance facing the opposite direction. It’s about change and movement, a different way of approaching life and music”.

Charlie Peacock, and signed to his re:think Records, a division of Sparrow Records, under the current moniker “Switchfoot”. Re: think would distribute their first three albums, The Legend of Chin, New Way to Be Human and Learning to Breathe.

Of Switchfoot’s first three albums Learning to Breathe was the most successful. The album was certified gold by the RIAA, and received a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Gospel Album.

In 2002 Switchfoot had a large role in the music for the movie A Walk to Remember. Singer and actress Mandy Moore, who starred in the movie, sang Switchfoot’s song “Only Hope” during a scene in the movie. The movie’s soundtrack also featured a duet with Mandy Moore and Jon Foreman, and as many as four other Switchfoot songs, in addition to Mandy Moore’s cover of “Only Hope”.

In 2004, following the commercial success of The Beautiful Letdown, the band released The Early Years: 1997-2000 3 CD Set:The Legend of Chin • New Way to be Human • Learning to Breathe, a collection of the albums released under re:think records which included the original artwork for all the albums.

i’m sure you can guess who’d use that phrase, hence the lack of introduction that i have implemented. this will be a somewhat stunted post, due to my lack of time left in which to write it. That being, because i’m going out to the theatre. This post is directed, however, upon something other than my personal life, and more upon the meaning of chrismtas, due to my distinct lack of ideas for writing this blog. Christmas isn’t just about the gifts, or indeed, thee concept of ‘giving’ and ‘recieving’. it is, in more depth, also about a time when people can acknowledge and celebrate friendships and relationships that they have with one another. it is about relishing the bond you share with the many people you care about, and appreciating them. upon this sombre note, i must leave, as i am late for the theatre almost. but think about what i said, for it holds meaning.

Hello all….

its the 27th of December…. And yesterday was the 26th December…. It was 3years yesterday since Tsunami happened…. Why does Tsunami brings most effect to me? This very same day…. My grandmother passed away….

she didn’t die due to tsunami…. It was cause of something else that i rather not talk about…. May she rest in peace…. She’s always been remembered not forgotten….

its few more days till new years…. Which means its almost time to say goodbye to the year 07 and say hello to 08…. I look forward to more experience, memories and time with all of u next year…. Next wednesday, everyone’s gonna be back to school…. Damn! I miss school…. I have no more school lol…. I am def looking forward for College next year….
